The history of the CAKE electric motorcycle brand can be traced back to 2016, when it was founded by Swedish entrepreneur Stefan Ytterborn. CAKE aims to produce high-performance, sustainable electric motorcycles and light motorcycles, and is known for its minimalist design and environmental protection concept. Soon after its establishment, it received multiple rounds of financing with its Scandinavian-style design. By 2018, CAKE began to officially sell its first product, Kalk, to the market.

After bankruptcy, CAKE was acquired by the Norwegian company Brages Holding AS. Currently, CAKE is working to simplify operations and make electric motorcycles more affordable and accessible while maintaining their original quality and design features.

Compared with Honda's radical and sporty style, CAKE's style is more conservative. The products they launch need to consider daily urban travel and off-road fun. Its Bukk is such a product. The core advantage of the brand lies in balance. It does not pursue the ultimate performance in one aspect, but focuses on the balance of overall performance. At the same time, the car's customized approach is also its core advantage. Users can choose different shock absorption combinations according to different needs, so that the product is more biased towards one aspect.

3. Stark Future -- Spain

Stark Future is a startup company headquartered in Barcelona, ​​Spain. It was founded in 2019. After two years of development, Varg (which means "wolf" in Swedish) is the brand's first model. At present, the company produces 1,000 motorcycles per month, and its business covers more than 50 countries around the world, with a particularly strong market in the United States.

The company is rising at an unprecedented rate and is expected to achieve revenue of more than 90 million euros by the end of 2024. Its flagship product, the Stark VARG electric motorcycle, has subverted the off-road field with its excellent performance and became the first electric model to compete and win with internal combustion engine racing. Stark Future has established a modern production base around Barcelona, ​​greatly improving production efficiency and meeting the strong demand for high-performance electric motorcycles in the global market. As a startup company, Stark Future has achieved a remarkable development momentum from its establishment to a revenue of 90 million euros in just 6 years. In addition, many of its products have achieved impressive market results, and have achieved impressive results in the European and North American markets. It is a very strong brand.

Stark's core brand advantage is similar to Honda's, but the difference is that Honda is still in the trial stage, while Stark has won many competition titles. Its core product Varg is positioned as a professional off-road vehicle built for competitions. 4.  SURRON -- China

SURRON was founded in December 2014. Judging from the time of brand establishment, it is the earliest brand in the field of electric off-road motorcycles.

In 2015, the first set of body platform & power platform design and development was successfully developed; in 2016, the Light Bee model project was launched and more than 200 patents were registered; in 2017, the Light Bee was officially mass-produced and launched global pre-orders, triggering a global electric off-road craze; in 2018, the Light Bee model won the Red Dot Design Award and the ISPO Global Design Award; Light Bee received more than 5,000 orders worldwide; in 2019, dealers were spread across more than 50 countries around the world. In the same year, the first batch of prototypes of the Baofeng/Qingfeng S models debuted at E1CMA; in 2020, Baofeng & Qingfeng S were officially launched, covering more off-road people, pushing the global electric off-road wave to a new height, and SURRON's orders increased to 30,000 units;

In 2021, the independent electric off-road event E-POWER CROSS was established, and the Jifeng project was launched. In 2022, Jifeng models were mass-produced and launched, further establishing SURRON's leadership in the electric off-road industry; in 2024, SURRON's global sales of models exceeded 110,000 units and established nearly 500 dealer networks and after-sales centers around the world.So far, the Qiulong brand has been established for a full 10 years. In these 10 years, it has grown step by step and launched its own representative products, making the global sales of models exceed 110,000 units, and also established a large number of distribution networks and after-sales outlets, becoming the leader of the electric off-road industry.

Compared with several other brands, Qiulong's biggest advantage lies in the maturity and reliability of its products. At present, its product line is the most abundant, and it has also created its own electric off-road events, and many competition teams use its products as competition vehicles. Its Light Bee and Extreme Bee series have made a good trade-off between professionalism and lightweight, which is not only suitable for competitions, but also for ordinary players. At the same time, the more affordable price and competition-level configuration are its biggest advantages. In simple terms, the cost performance is quite high among products of the same level.
